Student Services
The EyeCare Clinic carries a wide range of designer and budget fra,es for men, women and children. All types of contact lenes are fitted, and sunglasses are also available. Frame brands include: Armani, Diesel, Gucci, Dior, Carrera, Porsche and Kenzo.
There is no charge for eye examinations and the fee for contact lens fitting and after-care visits (normally $70-$100) is waived in all teaching clinics (final year optometry students under the supervision of experienced practicing optometrists).
Discount Details
- 30% discount to all tertiary level students (on presentation of a current student card from any tertiary institution) on spectacle frames and lenses from our preferred suppliers.
- 30% discount to all tertiary level students on all newly supplied and replacement contact lenses from our preferred suppliers.
- 25% discount to direct family members of students of the University of Melbourne on contact lenses, spectacle lenses and frames from our preferred suppliers. Direct family members are a spouse/partner, children, siblings and parents.
- 10% discount to all tertiary level students and direct family members of students of the University of Melbourne on contact lenses ordered from companies that are NOT a preferred supplier.
- 10% discount to all tertiary level students and direct family members of students of the University of Melbourne on spectacle frames requested by the patient that need to be ordered from a non-preferred frame supplier of University of Melbourne EyeCare practice.
