Staff Services
The EyeCare Clinic carries a wide range of designer and budget fra,es for men, women and children. All types of contact lenes are fitted, and sunglasses are also available. Frame brands include: Armani, Diesel, Gucci, Dior, Carrera, Porsche and Kenzo.
There is no charge for eye examinations and the fee for contact lens fitting and after-care visits (normally $70-$100) is waived in all teaching clinics (final year optometry students under the supervision of experienced practicing optometrists).
Discount Details
- 30% discount to all staff of the University of Melbourne and affiliated institutes on spectacle frames and spectacle lenses from our preferred suppliers.
- 25% discount to all staff of the University of Melbourne and affiliated institutes on all newly supplied and replacement contact lenses from our preferred suppliers.
- 25% discount to direct family members of all staff of the University of Melbourne and affiliated institutes on contact lenses, spectacle lenses and frames from our preferred suppliers. Direct family members are a spouse/partner, children, siblings and parents.
- 10% discount to all staff of the University of Melbourne and affiliated institutes (and their direct family members) on contact lenses ordered from companies that are NOT a preferred supplier.
- 10% discount to all staff of the University of Melbourne and affiliated institutes (and their direct family members) on spectacle frames requested by the patient that need to be ordered from a non-preferred frame supplier of University of Melbourne EyeCare practice.
